![]() It works, but isn't a great solution, especially if you have the media bin open all the time. Also if you use the media bin all the time, you cant have the media bin and the video input bin open at the same time. You could also use an Elgato Stream Deck and Companion to program buttons as a hardware switcher. So you could create keyboard shortcuts for each camera or something. But also, Renewed vision did just announce new keyboard shortcuts in the next update of Pro7. A hardware solution is definitely easier. I would say it works, but it's not great. ![]() But it's not really ideal for switching between multiple cameras. It works fine using actions and macros to call them. I use 2 video inputs in ProPresenter 7 weekly. With PP7 video inputs, can the software do any transitions with them? Or is it limited to just putting a video input layer somewhere? Some of the displays currently have NDI decoders (BirdDog) attached to them but we could add some for the projectors. I am imagining that all of this could be driven just right from PP7, with no need for a mixer/router for any display. With the power of NDI screens, looks, etc. If I were to build a capable system and outfit with input cards as necessary and utilize NDI (which already exists in the system), can I get by without having a video mixer? There's also a stage display NDI output currently, and a couple NDI outputs with alpha for pickup by a TriCaster via NDI. Currently, the output drives only two projectors but it's the same signal. I'm a pro-av engineer and I'm considering doing something a little different but wanted to get feedback here.Ī client's current system has a traditional Panasonic video mixer with a few camera and PP inputs.
